Daikin Has Chosen NGN, the Expert of IT Business

Last year, Daikin Turkey make a decision to move its head office in Turkey and decided to use NGN expertise for moving its IT infrastructure to the new office.
Moving from a house in which you have been living for a long time is the hardest thing ever. Possible damage to any of your furniture, white goods and personal belongings that are full of memories could become our biggest fear. Also consider that all these items being moved are full of past memories, client information and the most critical data. Wouldn’t you choose to cooperate with ‘‘the best of the business’’ in this process where any possible damage couldn’t be counted with numbers?
Today, moving is a nightmare not only for consumers but also for companies as well because, for companies, moving the hardware in which data is collected for many years successfully is as important as keeping, storing and archiving that data. The reason is simple: the failures that might occur during moving process are unfortunately not only limited to the damage to the hardware. Possible loss of data and workforce can cause irreparable damage to the information of clients and security management of the company and even its reputation.
NGN’S TURNKEY PROJECT
That is exactly why it took for 6 months for Daikin, the biggest air conditioning brand in the world that decided last year to move its IT center in Turkey from Kartal to Daikin After Sale Services Building in Maltepe, to choose the company it will cooperate for this moving operation. Daikin Turkey’s IT Department Network and System Chief Gökhan Koca said that Japans do not tolerate even a small risk as a business culture and added: “We chose NGN among 6 big companies thanks to its local experience and high quality customer service. Unique planning and business management skills of NGN before and during the moving process has proven to us once again that our decision was right”.
Mr. Koca emphasized that this is not the first successful project implemented by NGN and Daikin; the two brands have been cooperating on significant projects for a long time. However, moving has significant place among those projects and “Moving this important system for Daikin to another building had big risks. As a result of extensive survey and cooperation, we prepared a plan to minimize those risks. Creating this plan took the most of our time. Moving itself was successfully completed within 24 hours”.
Gökhan Koca also added by smiling that thanks to NGN team that delivered a turnkey project, they could sip their coffee comfortably during the moving process and emphasized: “It was an important decision for us to choose NGN as a business partner. We can conclude from the success of our business that our decision was right. Our projects with NGNwill continue because we are totally satisfied with their contributions”.
SUCCESS AS A RESULT OF RIGHT PLANNING
In terms of the risks and potential threats that made this project critical… NGN Technical Support Team Leader Hasan Taşdemir summarized the most strategic part of Daikin’s moving process as follows: “There were many stakeholders that had their own dynamics and business processes”. Mr. Taşdemir continued to explain the process: “We had to manage many stakeholders from the company that manages ERP software to telephone switchboards and the supplier that manages internet infrastructure. Even a single second of wrong planning could have caused big losses. Although the servers were moved physically, they would not have operated; loss of data and workforce could have occurred. It is possible to compensate loss of hardware, but it is impossible to calculate the cost of these failures for a company."

NGN Sale Director Dilek Süer emphasizes that NGN has been implementing very successful projects in close cooperation with Daikin Turkey for a long time.
